Worm Bin Arrival!!

Our worm bin arrived late today and is quite delightful! It was custom made by Dan at Worm Endings Unlimited and Debbie stocked it with plenty of worms to get us going. This worm bin is also special because it was paid for by Annie's Homegrown. Just before we opened in April our garden was raided and our plants, vegetables and flowers were stolen. When Annie's heard the story they immediately offered to pitch in and help us out. Well it took us awhile to rebuild and replace the garden but we are finally near completion! Thanks to Annie's we now have a beautiful worm habitat the children will love! Thank you Annie's!
Summer Camp is here!

Today was the first day of our summer camp for 4 & 5 year olds. We are very fortunate to have Teacher Eileen from First Presbyterian Day School running our summer program. She brings years of experience and lots of enthusiasm. About 1/2 of our campers are loyal followers of Ms. Eileen. The other 1/2 are sure to be delighted as they get to know her. Each week we will be doing a different theme. The first week is "space" camp so everything will be related to space and our solar system. It should be a fun action packed week full of learning and fun crafts. The stomp rockets are sure to be a hit as well. If you haven't signed up for camp, call us as spaces are filling up quickly!
New Playhouse

The new playhouse has finally been put together and installed! Yippee! A special thanks to Deanna Boustead our staff artist who came in and gave it a special Scientopia paint job to help it blend in. When you look around if you see something custom painted, chances are Deanna did it for us. She is an awesome artist and her talent is incredible. If you are looking for any custom work, let us know and we'll put you in touch with her. She has samples of some canvases available in our gift shop!
