A Really Fun Event, Our Jelly Belly Adventure
8/7/2008
We just concluded our whirlwind adventure at the Jelly Belly Factory. We spent 2 full days entertaining the Jelly Belly guests after they toured the factory. We were very honored to be invited and had a great time. With their regular visitors at 2,000-2,500 people a day it was quite a fun event. The Builder Boards seemed to get the most use. Before long the children had created a castle with a drawbridge! Our Bernoulli was also quite popular. Some clever kids figured out how to turn the Bernoulli Blower into an erupting volcano and had a blast sending paper cups up in the air. It made us realize how fun it would be to have a volcano exhibit, so now we’re designing one!
We had some moms from the Yahoo Napa Moms Group drop by with their families which made the time at Jelly Belly even more special. Thanks for the support! We have been really fortunate to be a part of this amazing network of women.
Science at PB&J's
8/1/2008
For the past few weeks PB&J’s invited us to come bring a bit of science to their summer camps. Once a week we brought different exhibits and crafts and let the kids play. It was great to get some feedback from the kids and to see how much they enjoyed our time together. We are grateful to Wendy from PB&J’s for the invitation. It gave us some valuable experience. It’s nice to have a special bond with another children’s business. Both Wendy and Bob have been mentors to us throughout this process of starting a small business.
