Art with Deanna

Our resident artist Deanna has come up with an amazing series of fine art classes to suit any budding artist. Her classes allow your child(ren) to explore multiple media and techniques. After each session they will bring home their masterpieces of the day. This is a drop off class geared toward children 5 and up. You can start at any point and do one or all classes. Each class is $15 per lesson and includes all materials. Sign up now to secure your space! Please note classes may be cancelled due to low enrollment.

Projects coming up:

• Paper Mache Masks - We will create amazing paper mache masks to take home.
• Seahorses - Using sponges we will create amazing seahorse paintings that look like stained glass. 
• Electrical Tape Art- We will use ordinary electrical tape to make an extraordinary project.
• Veggie Prints - We will use a variety of vegetables to make our own printed masterpiece. 
• Noodle Garden- We will be creating a beautiful flower garden using different shapes of pasta.  The noodle garden will be painted at the end to add a finishing touch.
• Petal Pounding- Using hammers and petals from many different flowers to create a very colorful masterpiece on white felt.
• Glitter Star- Sparkling glitter and simple lines will be combined to create a magnificent work of art.
• Sand Paper Drawing- We will be drawing suns, moons and stars with crayons onto sand paper to make a drawing with a very interesting texture.
• Water Color Sunset- A very peaceful sunset painting will be created using only 4 colors of watercolor.
• Cartoon Fish- The children will be taught how to draw two simply adorable cartoon fish using pencil and markers
