Our curriculum is specially designed with the CA State Science Standards in mind. Your child(ren) will be able to incorporate their experiences into what they are learning in school. This is a drop off class geared specifically toward children from 5-9 years old.

Each of our classes reinforce the parts of the scientific method. Children will be making observations, thinking of questions, researching, making a hypothesis, planning experiments, conducting experiments, recording data, analyzing the data, and making their own conclusions!  If you are looking to supplement the science your child is learning in school this is a great way to do it.

Teacher Jessica focuses on pairing the students up into partners or small groups for their scientific exploration. With our very small class size (max. 15) Jessica is able to really give each student quality time. At Scientopia we will show them the importance of having a lab partner or group to bounce ideas off and continue to improve upon their social skills as well as improve their vocabulary and understanding of basic science concepts.

CSI - Crime Scene Investigation

This is a great way to get your child(ren) interested in science and investigating. We'll do fingerprinting, doing impressions of teeth, footprint measurement to help determine height, and identifying different powders. Our last class session on the 28th will focus on our very own crime scence and using what we have learned to solve the mystery.

Cost: $60 for this four part series; RSVP required. You can sign up for all the classes or just the ones that work for your schedule.
