Spring Camp 2010
We are excited to be offering a Spring 2010 camp with Teacher Eileen, Joey and Sarah! We are offering 2 weeks of camp to accomodate both the private and public school schedule.
M-F Week of March 29th
M-F Week of April 5th
AM Session ages 4-6
PM Session ages 5-7
Morning sessions go from 9-1pm and afternoon sessions go from 2-6 pm. All sessions are $160 per week or $32 per individual session. You must specify morning or afternoon when enrolling. Subject to availability, first come first serve. Priority registration will go to those who book for the entire week.
Please note: we are not offering all day camps. If you are looking for an all day option you can check the Napa Parks and Recreation schedule for all their wonderful offerings. Our curriculum and activities are geared toward a shorter time frame.

| Garden Detectives | Soda Bottle Science | Music | Flames, Science and Safety | Taste of Space |
| We will discover what seeds are as well as some sorting and then make some incredible art with seeds. The children will also make a take home terrarium with a beautiful flower. Math and science in the garden have never been so much fun. | Our sleuths will be investigating how many interesting experiments can be done with a 2 liter soda bottle. We’ll be making raisins dance, seeing how cyclones work, doing an explosion and a few other exciting soda bottle experiments. | First they’ll experience music first hand with a variety of visiting musicians that will both delight and inspire them with their instruments. Then each child will make their very own drum and a wind chime masterpiece made out of simple found items. | What is fire? A lesson on what fire is as well as lots of important fire safety basics for kids. Your child will meet some of Napa finest first responders and see their vehicles. We will demonstrate fire safety in the home and make a fire safety exit map for your house. Making their own Sparky the fire dog sock puppet will complete the experience! | We’ll be doing some gravity experiments, stomp rockets and a solar system model on our special taste of space day! In addition they are going to test their ability to drink water in space and sample some real astronaut cuisine! It’s an out of this world experience! |

| This camp is all about flight! We’ll be designing paper airplanes and hovercraft toys to take home as well understanding how helicopters work. Our very own paper airplane contest will help the kids to test a variety of designs! | Our very own Joey will be leading an exciting day of physical activity with things like mini-golf, outdoor games and skate board science. They’ll also be creating their own recycled skateboard project to take home. | We’ll be exploring the science of toys on this special hands-on science day. We’ll break out the blue track while we learn about forward and backward motion as well as inertia. Kids will investigate the science behind some of their favorite toys! | Our resident artist Deanna will be exploring different techniques with the kids as they create several beautiful masterpieces to take home. They’ll make their very own gorgeous hand-painted vegetable bouquet as well as a creation that teaches them about layering and textures. | Our nutrition investigation will focus on healthy fruits. We’ll be making our own fruit leather and smoothies showing the kids each step of the way how to be involved in the kitchen and make things they’ll love! |
